General Description of the Toshiba RS-TX20:
Toshiba followed up on its first TiVo (which could play, but not burn DVDs) with this series which allowed for burning DVDs. This allows shows to be copied directly from the hard drive to a DVD at up to four times real-time. Also, shows can be recorded from external sources like video cameras, and commercial DVDs and CDs can be played in the DVD drive. This unit also has as FireWire port for downloading video from many video cameras in all-digital format.

This is a special remote with DVD buttons intended for Toshiba DVD-burning TiVo DVRs. This remote will be compatible with all other TiVos that use Peanut-shaped remotes. This has a Toshiba logo on the bottom.
