Following up quickly on the short-lived DVR39, RCA released three models: the DVR40, DVR80, and DVR120, which only different in hard drive capacity. These units contain the RID chip that all contemporaneous DirecTV DVRs housed.

This is the second generation DirecTV/TiVo remote. This remote will be compatible with all other TiVos that use Peanut-shaped remotes. This has a DirecTV logo on the bottom.
